A class based on the dynamic ashtanga practice in which a sequence of asanas (physical postures) is linked through breath and vinyasa. Vinyasa, in this context, can be seen as the re-setting of the body through movement. In order to create and maintain balance in the body, poses are followed not only by counter-poses but also evolutionary, progressive and complimentary poses. Focus is placed on the therapeutic benefits of a physical yoga practice. Attention to breath creates heat and promotes mental clarity. Through asana, strength is developed alongside flexibility.

The word Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel, and that is just what the Chakras are - spinning wheels of cosmic energy located within the human body. Seven primary Chakras govern specific physical areas of the body and a set of life issues. Due to stress and bad habits, Chakras can become blocked or overloaded. They can be begin to be brought back into optimum balance through the science of yoga. This 90 minute Chakra tune up journeys through the body, harmonizing each centre in a flow of asana (postures), visualization, sound and a closing meditation. This moderately challenging class is suitable for all levels and practitioners can expect the class to end with a 15 minute meditation before Savasana (final relaxation).

A class that promotes deep relaxation: combining classical yoga postures, pilates, props and pranayama (breath work) this class serves to release tension and gently re-align the body. Stress reduction and slow examination of correct action and alignment are addressed. This class is offered at 6 p.m. on the last Monday of every month.
